Welcome to India and the big city bustle of Delhi! Your journey begins in this colourful capital city and is sure to be unlike anywhere you’ve been before, with contrasts at every turn. You’ll find both the ancient and modern and the peaceful and chaotic here, with ancient relics of multiple bygone eras peacefully sat next to glistening shopping malls. Meanwhile, street stalls, rickshaws, animals and tourists all jostle for space in the narrow lanes of Old Delhi. After arriving and transferring to your hotel, you’ll meet up with your fellow travellers to chat through the adventures to come on your India tour. You’ll then indulge in your first taste of Delhi’s delicious foodie scene over a welcome dinner.

Day 2 Explore Delhi

And the adventure begins! After breakfast the group meets up and the guide will brief you on why to take India as an experience and certain things you should know while you are here with us.
Delhi – The city is home to iconic landmarks such as the Jama Masjid, India Gate, and Qutub Minar, each narrating a chapter from India’s past. The bustling streets of Old Delhi exude an old-world charm, with narrow lanes, bustling markets, and the aromatic waft of street food. In contrast, New Delhi, with its wide avenues and colonial-era architecture, serves as the seat of the Indian government.

Leaving Delhi in our dust this morning, we’ll continue our journey south to Rajasthan, the state of the maharajas, and a real favourite among travellers for its rich culture, buzzing cities and superb shopping, the perfect place to pick up some treasures to remember your India vacation. As you drive through the gates to the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur, the capital, prepare for the magic of seeing sights like camels slowly plodding beside your window as they pull their wooden carts through the city. After settling into your hotel, you’ll have the rest of the day free to explore Jaipur your way.
This evening, don’t miss joining our visit to the Birla Temple to witness a moving Aarti ceremony, a sacred part of Hindu culture and the perfect way to end yet another incredible day

Agra’s history can be traced back to ancient times when it was known as “Agravana” or “Agrawana” in Sanskrit literature. It is believed to have been part of the ancient Brijbhumi region, associated with Lord Krishna. A boat ride gives tourist a full view of amazing scenes of cities and monuments that are decorated on Dev Diwali. You can watch people flowing thousands of Diyas (earthen lamps) in the holy water of Ganges dedicating to their Gods according to the ritual beliefs.

Things To Know Before
Arrival
Money
When it comes to us giving advice on how much money to bring, it’s entirely up to you! The INR is a closed currency so it’s unlikely that you will be able to change your currency before you arrive, but there are currency exchange desks in the arrivals area of the airport. Remember to tell your bank that you are leaving the country to avoid your card being suspended.
Visa
This VISA needs to be applied and received BEFORE you travel to India. Depending on your country of citizenship you may be entitled to a 30 – 90 days E – Tourist visa for India. Please note the Visa is not included in the tour cost.
Transportations
We will be using a variety of transportations in each city, which can be an air-conditioned coach or a car for sightseeing & travelling to different cities. It can be a pedal or battery rickshaw for going in to the narrow lanes of city.
Arrivals
Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport is one of the busiest airports in Asia and can be a confusing place. Once you have passed through Immigration (Passport Control) and received your arrival stamp, you will need to collect your luggage from one of the carousels. If you need to change any currency this is the place to do so. The pick-up information will be sent prior to your arrival on tour. Our representative will be there at the airport to receive you and will transfer you to your pre booked hotels.
Accommodations
All hotels will be 5-star properties with twin sharing rooms with all facilities and they all will be the best places of accommodation in India with daily breakfast & dinner. A detailed document with the list of hotels during your tour will be sent to you prior to your arrivals.
Clothing
Two adverbs govern how tourists should dress in India: comfortably & respectfully. While going inside temples or religious places, it is recommended to cover knees & shoulders. October through to February tend to be the coolest months with highs of 25 Celsius and lows of 10 Celsius. Please bear this in mind when packing for your trip. During the months of March to September, this is considered the warmest time of year in India. It can also be relatively cool overnight with temperature ranging from day time highs of 40 Celsius to night time lows of 25 Celsius.
